How Culture Made the Human Mind

This is a review of Darwin’s Unfinished Symphony: How Culture Made the Human Mind. This book is about a new theory of Human Cognitive Evolution.

Darwin said intelligence and language evolved in humans because they helped us to survive better.  That is these things were evolutionary selected for.  But Leland was puzzled.  If this is true then, why didn’t other species discover these characteristics.
